Is a Wall Bed safe?

All our wall beds are made with Murphy wall bed systems spring balanced mechanism and Steel metal frame, so we believe it is one of the safest wall bed on the market today. Any adult person can easily open and close our Murphy bed.

How long does it takes to produce Murphy bed?

Normally orders are shipping within 4 weeks. It depends on materials Wall bed is made of. For example MDF painted boards (especially glossy colors) takes up to 6 weeks to produce.

How heavy are Wall beds to open or close ?

Really light in most models, but heavier with latex mattresses. No problem for an adult and in mostly models even for children.

Can I use a mattress that I already have in my bedside cupboard?

Mostly Yes,but if you have custom sized mattress, please call us providing the dimensions of it and we'll tell exactly. We recommend to use mattresses up to 22 cm thick. There is an extra option to make wall bed depth up to 60cm, so You could use thicker mattress.

Can a wall bed raise or open by itself?

Absolutely NOT. The mechanism is made in such a way that the bed needs to be raised about 90cm from the floor before it starts closing. Also, you need to add some strength to open it (machanism holds whole front fixed). Murphy bed can not be opened without your efforts.

How long are wall beds guaranteed for?

The wall bed mechanism is guaranteed for 5 years. If properly maintained, it will last 20 years or even more (depending on the loads).
